Glossary

The number of ways to choose $k$ items from a set of $n$ items, regardless of order (i.e., drawing cards A, B, C is the same as drawing C, B, A). Written as $\binom{n}{k}$, $C(n,k)$ or “n choose k”. Fundamental to calculating probabilities in MTG, such as the number of ways to draw a specific combination of cards from your deck.
